Will it be an all Williams final?
Zheng Jie could have more than just her birthday to celebrate on Saturday if she reaches the finals at Wimbledon. The 24-year-old faces Serena Williams in the semi-finals today. Jie is the first Chinese tennis player to get this far in the competition, but it doesn't seem like she'll be getting too much further because Serena has won all ties against Jie.
Jie has catapulted onto the tennis scene as she defeated recently crowned world number one Ana Ivanovic. If she is to win at the All England Club, Jie will donate most of her prize money to those who were effected by the May 12th earthquake.
It will be a tough ask for Jie to beat Serena who's pure strength is a key.
Defending champion Venus Williams will meet number 5 seed Elena Dementieva who is the highest ranked player in the tournament. Venus is a veteran of the sport and will hope that her experience and clinical playing will get her to the final. The competition has been very unpredic! table so far so whether it will be an all William's final, only time till tell.
